Since then electronic companies are running to bring a new gadget based on the platform in order to get the first mover advantage. Acer was the first company to bring a tablet based on Ice Cream Sandwich , but it will soon have some serious company in the segment when Coby Electronics will launched not one, but five tablets at the consumer electronics show to be held in Las Vegas this January.
New gadget from Coby electronics
New York based Coby Electronics has been very secretive about the new gadget it is going to launch early next year. The five tablets will have different screen sizes starting from 7 inch and moving up to 10 inches. There will also be an 8 inch, 9 inch and 9.7 inch variant. The tablets are expected to house a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor with 1GB of system memory. Existing Coby tablets have a 4GB in built storage and the new gadget is also expected to house the same. There will also be Wi-Fi and HDMI as usual. The new gadget like other Coby electronics is expected to be easy on the pocket. Coby electronics has remained tight lipped on other features. Guess we will have to wait till CES 2012 to find all the details.
